Silk Dynasty has been a pioneer in the use of natural and sustainable materials and fibres, such as silk and abaca, to create exciting and eco-friendly interiors. Abaca is a banana plant fibre that is sustainably grown and harvested in the Philippines (without the use of pesticides or fertilisers), and is used to make Silk Dynasty’s atural, woven wallcoverings.
In the dyeing process, natural mineral pigments and acrylic colours are used and surround the silk fibres adding strength and resilience. nlike conventional silk fabric, which is coloured with penetrating yes, Silk Dynasty’s silk wallcoverings will retain their colour when
